Privacy Policy

Effective: March 18, 2026 | Last Updated: April 14, 2026

Welcome to Vox Invoice Maker. Your privacy is at the core of how we build our application. Unlike many other financial tools, Vox Invoice Maker is designed to operate locally on your device. This means your sensitive business and client data stays with you, not on our servers. This Privacy Policy should be read together with our Terms of Service.

1. General Information

This application is owned and operated by Andrey Mazur ("we," "us," or "our"). We provide a mobile application for creating and managing invoices. If you have any questions regarding this policy, please contact us at voxinvoicemaker@mazur.uk.

2. Consent

By downloading, installing, or using the App, you consent to the collection and processing of data as described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree with any part of this policy, you should not use the App. You may withdraw your consent at any time by uninstalling the App and ceasing all use. Withdrawal of consent does not affect the lawfulness of processing carried out prior to withdrawal.

3. Lawful Basis for Processing

To the extent that we process any personal data through third-party services, we rely on the following legal bases:

  • Contract Performance: Processing of subscription and transaction data by RevenueCat is necessary to fulfill our contractual obligation to provide you with premium features.
  • Legitimate Interest: Collection of anonymous crash data by Firebase Crashlytics and anonymous usage data by Firebase Analytics is based on our legitimate interest in maintaining and improving the App's stability, performance, and user experience. You may opt out of both services by adjusting your device settings: on iOS, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements; on Android, go to Settings > Google > Usage & diagnostics.

4. Data Collection & Usage

We believe in data minimization. Here is how we handle information:

Business & Client Data: Information you enter into the app (Company Name, Address, Phone, Email, Bank Details, and Client information) is stored locally on your mobile device. We do not have access to this data, and it is never transmitted to our servers or any cloud storage managed by us.

PDF Generation: All invoice PDFs are generated directly on your mobile device. Your data does not leave your phone during the generation process.

Analytics & Usage Data: The App uses Google Firebase Analytics to collect anonymous usage data that helps us understand how the App is used and improve the user experience. This includes:

  • App open events and session duration
  • Screen views and navigation patterns
  • Custom events related to feature usage (e.g., creating an invoice, selecting a template)
  • Device model, operating system version, and app version

Firebase Analytics does not collect:

  • Any personal or business information you enter into the App
  • Invoice content, client details, or financial data
  • Names, email addresses, or other personally identifiable information

All analytics data is anonymous and aggregated. No data that could identify you or your clients is ever transmitted.

5. Tracking & Advertising

Vox Invoice Maker does not use advertising identifiers (such as Apple's IDFA or Android's Advertising ID), cross-app tracking, or cross-site tracking. The App does not contain any advertising SDKs or ad networks.

The App does collect anonymous usage analytics through Firebase Analytics as described in Section 4. This data is used solely to improve the App and is not shared with advertisers or used for ad targeting.

6. Third-Party Services

While we do not store your data, we use a few trusted third-party SDKs to ensure the App runs smoothly and to manage subscriptions:

RevenueCat: Used to manage and verify your app store subscriptions (via Apple App Store or Google Play Store). RevenueCat may collect transaction data and a unique pseudonymous identifier to ensure your premium features are active. It does not have access to your invoice details, business data, or client data. For details on how RevenueCat handles data, see the RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

Firebase (Google): The App uses two Firebase services:

  • Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymous crash reports including device model, operating system version, crash stack traces, and app version. This data helps us identify and fix bugs.
  • Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous usage data including app open events, session duration, screen views, and custom feature usage events. This data helps us understand how the App is used and prioritize improvements.

Neither service collects personally identifiable information, invoice content, or business data you enter into the App. All data is anonymous and aggregated.

You can opt out of both services at the device level: on iOS, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements; on Android, go to Settings > Google > Usage & diagnostics to disable diagnostics sharing. For details, see the Firebase Privacy Policy.

These third-party services operate independently and have their own privacy policies and data practices. We are not responsible for the privacy practices, data security, or content of these third-party services. We encourage you to review their privacy policies. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with any third party for marketing or advertising purposes.

7. Data Sharing

We do not sell your data. We share data only in the following limited circumstances:

  • RevenueCat: Pseudonymous subscription and transaction data, as described in Section 6.
  • Firebase Crashlytics: Anonymous technical crash data, as described in Section 6.
  • Firebase Analytics: Anonymous usage analytics data, as described in Section 6.
  • Legal Requirements: We may disclose information if required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process (e.g., a court order or subpoena).

8. International Data Transfers

Your business and client data is stored locally on your device and is not transferred anywhere. However, the limited data processed by our third-party services (RevenueCat, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Analytics) may be transferred to and processed on servers located in the United States or other countries where these providers operate. By using the App, you acknowledge and consent to such transfers. These providers maintain their own data protection measures and comply with applicable data transfer regulations.

11. Data Security

Since all your data is stored locally on your device, it benefits from the security measures built into your device, including device-level encryption, passcode or PIN protection, and biometric authentication (such as Face ID, Touch ID, or fingerprint unlock) when enabled. We do not transmit or store your data on any external servers, which eliminates the risk of server-side data breaches.

However, no method of electronic storage is 100% secure. While we strive to protect your data by keeping it local to your device, we cannot guarantee its absolute security. You are responsible for maintaining the security of your device, including keeping your operating system up to date and using a strong passcode.

12. Data Retention & Deletion

Since your data is stored locally:

Retention: Data remains on your device as long as the application is installed.

Deletion: You can delete your data at any time by deleting the information within the app or by uninstalling the application. Once uninstalled, all locally stored data is permanently removed and cannot be recovered by us.

Third-Party Retention: Data processed by RevenueCat, Firebase Crashlytics, and Firebase Analytics is retained in accordance with their respective privacy policies and data retention schedules. We encourage you to review their policies for details.

13. Data Breach Notification

Since your personal and business data is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to or stored on our servers, the risk of a data breach on our end is minimal. However, in the unlikely event that a third-party service we use (RevenueCat, Firebase Crashlytics, or Firebase Analytics) experiences a data breach affecting your data, we will make reasonable efforts to notify affected users within a reasonable timeframe after becoming aware of the breach, in accordance with applicable law.

14. Your Rights

To the extent required by applicable law, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

  • Access: The right to know what data is collected about you. Since your data is stored locally on your device, you already have full access to it at all times.
  • Deletion: The right to delete your data. You can do this at any time by removing data within the App or by uninstalling it.
  • Portability: The right to export your data. You can export your invoices as PDF files at any time from within the App.
  • Opt-Out of Sale: We do not sell your personal data, so there is nothing to opt out of.
  • Opt-Out of Firebase Data Collection: You may opt out of Firebase Crashlytics and Firebase Analytics data collection by adjusting your device settings: on iOS, go to Settings > Privacy & Security > Analytics & Improvements; on Android, go to Settings > Google > Usage & diagnostics.

To exercise any of these rights or if you have questions, please contact us at voxinvoicemaker@mazur.uk.

15. Children's Privacy

Vox Invoice Maker is a business tool intended for users aged 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under the age of 18. If you are under 18, please do not use the App.

16. Regional Compliance

  • United States (CCPA/CPRA): We do not sell or share your personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising. You have the right to know, delete, and opt out of the sale of personal information. The only data collected is anonymous usage and device data through Firebase Analytics and Firebase Crashlytics, which is not personally identifiable and is not sold or shared for advertising purposes.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify you of material changes at least 30 days before they take effect by posting the updated Privacy Policy on this page and within the App, and by revising the "Last Updated" date at the top. Your continued use of the App after the updated policy takes effect constitutes your acceptance of the changes.
